Chunky salsa

Most jars of salsa you can buy here are pretty small and expensive, so I like making my own type like this. Just change the amounts of tomato and onion depending how much you want to make.

Ingredients:
A few tomatoes
A few slices of onion
1 clove of garlic
1 jalapeño pepper

Prepartion:
1) Cut the tomatoes into very small pieces. Try to cut them on some surface, like a flat plate, that will collect the juice that comes out. Put the tomato pieces and the juice into a bowl.

2) Peel the clove of garlic and cut it into very small pieces too. You can also crush it if you prefer, but I like the stronger flavour of it when it's in little pieces. Add to the bowl of tomatoes and mix together.

3) Chop the onion and jalapeño pepper into very small pieces. I prefer to take out the seeds of the jalepeño while slicing it up as I don't like it too spicy but that's a matter of taste. Add these to the bowl and mix everything together one last time.

4) Chill in the fridge for a little while and then serve with some tortilla chips.
